Marisa Miller who started as a play boy magazine model became a high profile mainstream model after she was discovered by fashion photographer Mario Testino in Manhattan Beach in 2001. She soon worked with Victoria's Secret and also appeared in the coveted Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue (2002–2007). She featured in the 2004 and 2005 editions' sections of body painting.
